Back in the days when I had no idea what I’d be doing with my life, I wanted to grow up real bad. Always believed that growing up means having more control, power, intelligence, friends and everything just would be better than what already is. Little did I know that I would develop anxieties as opposed to having self-control, would be feeling powerless amongst the people I work under, would always doubt my intelligence since that was what was being fed to increase my doubts and lastly I would end up cutting bonds after realising that frenemies are the last thing I need.
Well, but I still want to feel like a child. So, I went ahead and started buying things that make me feel the world is still good, even though I know my childlike thinking is simply ignorance. I recently bought a cute Groot and I can’t help but stare at it when I want to relive a few moments of innocence.
Hope it helps someone out there too….
